Oblong folio, 11 x 13 inches. 36 dark gray heavy card leaves with 4 off-white leaves with printed descriptions and price list, one at the start of each section. 193 individual mounted specimens and chart of emblems at rear. 5 samples incorporating real photographs in cutaway windows. Spectacular!

A Fair to Good copy with dampstaining and a small chip to the covers; tidemarks around the edges of the price lists and some lighter-toned samples; abrasion from gummed envelope tabs; lacking original glassine interleaves. A little curly and creased. Penultimate leaf loose, else a sturdy copy that still elicits giggles of delight for its paper excellence (those envelope linings!) OCLC shows 1 copy at SMU.
