Two original nursery rhyme illustrations in gouache

A sweet pair of original gouache watercolor illustrations on stiff boards each measuring 10 x 7.5 inches, with an image area of 7 x 4.5 inches. No date, ca. mid-20th century. Both feature a group of children arranged in a circle, playing nursery rhyme games. The shape of the inner frame and the shaking hands image repeated in the corners almost make them look like they were designed as part of a trading card series, but they lack any artist's signature or identification. With touch-ups confirming the images were created for print reproduction. The rumbling in space on the "We all fall down" is particularly lovely.
