"Take a chance and win" King Oscar pull-tab lotto card

Early 20th century promotional lotto card for "King Oscar" 5-cent cigars, first produced in 1891 by John C. Herman & Co., Harrisburg, Pa. Recto-only card, 7 x 7.25 inches. Chipped around the corners with soil to the verso, orange medallion tarnished (as often seen with that color paper from around 1890-1920). Customers would pay to pull a tab and would write their name on the corresponding line. Whomever matches the winning number gets 25 cigars! A great graphic item with tempting pull-tabs intact.
