[drawing, child art]
Roy's Springtime 1934 4th grade class notebook with lots of drawings
A wealth of excellent drawings, really beautiful geometric pieces reminiscent of parquetry. Some of Roy's finest work, graded by a teacher (and sometimes himself). "Whopper" composition book boasting 160 pages, 8.25 x 6.75 inches. Contains 35 (intentioned? realizes?) drawings, many pages of doodles, scribbles, some spelling quizzes and a report on Holland. About 15 blank leaves at the end. 1 page is partially loose and chipped around the edges, Very Good overall. Work is dated from January through April and is full of surprises (don't miss the Basquiat).
