RPPC, 3.5 x 5 inches, cyanotype photo with pencil correspondence. Bottom half-inch torn off long ago, concealing the sender's identity. Sent from Waynesboro to Miss E. May Swope in Biglerville, from a (presumed) young man "waiting for a return to [his] letter;" hedging his bets that if the boxing doesn't impress her, his churchgoing might. One fears for the painting on the wall behind them...
