First Edition. London: George Philip & Son, 1859.

"Embraces 4000 years, from Adam, B.C. 4004, to Christ," designed to aid in the teaching of Old Testament Scriptures and embellished with Biblical narrative: the period from Creation up to the Flood in 2500 B.C., bears the epigraph, "Man in the divine image, substituted by, man in misery, lamenting. The blessed God, shall come down, teaching, his death shall send, to the weary, consolation." Includes the original 21pp booklet key to the specific colors (Carmine, Gamboge, Crimson Lake, to name a few) and general explanation of the method and scope of the chart. Rev. Henry Linton was the Senior Lecturer in Divinity at St. Aidan's Theological College, Birkenhead. No copies of the charts or the booklets are recorded in OCLC.
