The longest-running of fitness guru Bernarr Macfadden's (1868-1955) empire of publications, and second in popularity only to his "confessional" magazine "True Story" which was hugely successful in the 1920s and '30s. This issue notably with a political feature on Macfadden, who had repeatedly sought elected office, including a 1936 presidential bid.
