Brilliant color ABC on [16] pages, including wraps. 10.5 x 6.75 inches. Common repair stitching along the spine with associated abrasion colored to match the yellow wraps. Attributed to William J. Rigney, who authored the earlier "My little darling's abc illustrated," which had the same text. A vibrant ABC with alphabetically suited imagery packed into each letter's vignette, in addition to the designated noun. An image of [Queen] Victoria under "Q stands for Quills" and a vulture by "V is a Violet." But poor old "X" is just a picture of the letter on top of a tablecloth patterned as a flame, "X is a letter like this X, you will find."
