Little Pleasewell's Cruel Boy and the Magpie.

Electrotyped by Vincent Dill, 27 New Chambers St, NY. Wraps, 4.5 x 3.5 inches, [8] pages including 4 lithograph plates in red, green and black. Previous owner's inscription inside the front cover, dated 1870. Very Good with a small nick to the bottom edge of the front cover, and shallow chipping to the upper edge of the last 2 leaves (no loss to printed area), minor spotting. A cruel boy buries and stomps on a magpie who rises from the grave as an oversize monster and pecks the boy's hair out.
