Ribbon-bound textile sample book in flexible blue cloth with gilt stamped titles, 6.25 x 10.25 inches. Likely ca. 1890-1910, but the lack of publication information, other examples, and overall longevity of Jordan Marsh & Co. difficult to reliably speculate. 8 double-leaves of numbered patterns eith the stub of a 9th pattern at the end. Offsetting suggests the missing sample has been gone for some time. Pencil to front flyleaf, a few small spots on the fabric. Generously sized samples in a beautifully preserved binding, backed with tissue that makes a gloriously satisfying sound when you turn the page.
