"Shampoo King" Frederick Walter Fitch began making men's shampoo in 1893 and grew into major operation in the first half of the twentieth century. The rear wrap shows the "Fitch Toilet Preparations" factory in Des Moines. Additional products include Lemon Cream, Quinine Hair Dressing and Tonique Superbe, and a range of cosmetics and perfumes. Mentions demonstrations at the "Pageant of Progress" in Chicago in 1921 (7) and lists Chicago-area suppliers (10-12). Not in OCLC.
