8.75 x 8.5 inches. Printed fiberboard 2-prong binder cover; 50 quad-ruled pages, 20 pages with large color diagrams executed with great care in colored pencil. Text in faint cursive script, entirely in Finnish. No date, presumed ca. 1950s. The system of manual training known as Sloyd is still part of compulsory education in Finland. Near Fine condition with mild age toning; contents are inherently faint but clean and crisp. Sections include smocking, pockets, patching, zippers and attachments. Visually delicate and pleasing.
