Empiro-Dynamics: Master Course of Instruction in the Science of Building Primitive Health and Youthfulness Through Empiro Dynamic Forces (Lessons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
8 lessons of 6-15 pages each, collected in blue fiberboard wraps with original covers bound in. Issued for an 8-day seminar with a menu printed on the last page of each lesson. Discoloration and edgewear to the outer cover, contents with subtle age toning but still crisp and clean overall. An apparently unrecorded publication from relatively early in Bragg's exploits. His story is mired with false claims of Olympic competitions, college degrees, and even his birth and family history. He was sued for plagiarism and widely admonished for "mail-order quackery" by the American Medical Association and was barred by the Postmaster General for fraud. A protege of Physical Culture guru Bernarr Macfadden, he made even more of a business empire out of his health and diet claims. Amidst regular controversy, he managed his alternative health empire for over 50 years and is credited with influencing the extreme health culture that characterize Los Angeles. His only enduring miracle product, Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar, is still available in supermarkets today. No copies in OCLC.
