Decorative Writing and Arrangement of Lettering
Cloth-backed boards printed with an understated black and white design. Foxing/offsetting to the endpapers and some rubbing to the boards, but overall Near Fine. From the library of Adams T. Rice, a writer known for his dramatization “Pinocchio, A Fantastic Comedy in Eight Scenes” which was directed by Clare Tree Major at the Children’s Theatre in New York City in the mid-1920s, and published in 1931. His thematic bookplate appears on the front pastedown; else unmarked. A nice touch of provenance on a brilliant book.
