Danger of Regretting It...

American Tract Society, (ca. 1870).

...if you do not go and see Corson: Hypnotist and Mind-Reader. Introducing the original Statue Test, the Ring and Ribbon, the Book and Visualistic Test and be sure to see the great Pulsation and Catileptic Test, also the mirth provoking Metamorphosis of the hypnotic subjects. Popular Prices. Opera House, Tonight.

A nice bit of typography and compelling ad copy. The item comes from Maine, but Corson doesn't pop up in newspapers or periodicals and the advertisement is printed to broadly apply. Likely ca. 1900. 9.25 x 5.75 inches, printed recto only on thin pulp stock. Very Good with short closed tear to the upper right edge and 1" tear along the center fold with a small loss to the printed rule, else crisp and convincing. Studies show regret can be detrimental to mental health--damnation be damned.
