1917 wedding invitation copper plate keepsake

Catchall tray, 6.5 x 5.5 x .5 inches, formed from the engraved copper plate used for printing invitations to the wedding of Elsa Krailing to Kenneth Herbert Hawkins in East Haven, CT on June 23, 1917 (the year isn't engraved but was located in marriage records). Tiffany & Co. offered more polished versions of these keepsakes with nicely lipped corners. This example is snipped, turned and soldered to create the shape, but is well executed and has great patina.
