Japanese-made soroban (abacus)

Twentieth century (ca. late 1940s) wooden abacus made in Japan, 8 x 5 x 1 inches. Similar to those produced by Daruma but with superior details, this example has two brass fittings and thin dovetail joints reinforcing the corners. Very Good with some nicks to the paint and a thin layer of patina that could be easily polished or cherished, whatever your preference.
