1916 "few lines to let you know I am not dead"
A scrappy little note on a torn notebook leaf, 5.25 x 3.25 inches. Written to (possibly from?) Miss Beatrice Dean in Central Village, Ct., on February 27, 1916. It starts, "My Dear Friend... Just a few lines to let you know I am not dead," a little catching up on how Albert's doing (better), and that she should come to stay for supper, and throws in at the end, "It was so lonesome Sunday night I bet wasn't it you didn't have any kiss..."
