Canson et Montgolfier. Paris-Vidalion-New York (cover title)

Limited edition sample book. Buckram-backed paper boards with pasted label, 4to (np). 1925 second edition, limited to 500 copies and continuing numeration from the first edition (also 500); this copy #833, with bookplate presented to J. F. Tapley & Co—established in 1895 by Jesse Fellowes Tapley, a founding member of the Bookbinders Guild of New York. Very Good with some soot discoloration to spine and some upper edges of lighter stock, mild rubbing wear to boards and light soil to endpapers. Printed specimens all clean and crisp, a very nice example of the handsome specimen book.
