A Fair to Good example with evident damp puckering and discoloration/soil to cloth; contents with occasional fingersoil and foxing, but spared any water damage. In addition to excerpts from the text, this specimen book offers two spine designs mounted to the front pastedown and an alternate cover design at rear, 7 engraved portraits, including frontis, a fold-out prospectus followed by a subscription ledger with just one name listed (probably the agent himself).
