1859 autograph letter from "D. D. Domer" at the Missionary Institute in Selinsgrove, PA

Single folded sheet (12.5 x 7.75 inches), 4 full pages of holographic text signed "D. D. Domer." The letter outlines early events at the Missionary Institute, which was then in its first year. Possibly written by Samuel Domer, D.D. (though it would be unusually signed), a Lutheran Minister and prominent figure associated with the Missionary Institute and related endeavors in the Selinsgrove region. He was a founder and principal of the Susquehanna Female College.
