Single school slate tablet

Double-sided school slate, 7 x 5 inches, with felted trim and a delightful haze of magenta around the inside of the wooden frame, 9.25 x 7.25 inches. Slate cracked on one side, but a really lovely thing with just the right amount of patina. Late 19th century.
