No date, ca. 1910-1920, an uncommon original image of a young women's club swinging troupe in sailor-inspired costumes. Originally a very serious athletic pursuit for the mid-19C manly-men, club swinging became a staple of physical education and the performance of "routines" for recreational enjoyment spread in the early part of the 20th century.
