"Danger" mine blasting safety banner

Red safety flag, 12.5 x 11 inches with a metal rod and hanging tab. Early-mid twentieth century. About very good with several larger tears along the metal, still sturdy with just a few small holes and pulls to the main area. The open weave allows the white ink to penetrate and make legible both sides and the source of the flag suggested it was used for marking mine blasting areas and came from Georgia.
