Chinese paper doll cards in original box

A boxed set of 12 folding paper doll cutouts; 2.5 inches square. Chinese, mid twentieth century. With 3 copies of four designs, including a junk schooner, rickshaw, little boy and young girl (with appliqué pigtails). The folding tabs are tender at the creases, two have paper tissue reinforcement; not all stand on their own. Old clear tape reinforcement to one side of the box lid. Nice offset halos around the cutouts and texture added from variations in the hand coloring.
