A pocket-sized circulation ledger where all those Sunday School Library bookplates on the pastedowns of old children’s books correlate—with a very satisfying assortment of numbers, tallies and cancels at the core of the marking system. The sections are generally organized by patron name followed by the call number for the books they borrowed, crossed out (presumably on their return). Several pages also list classes with tallies for individual pupils. Purchased in Wisconsin, with one memorable and  appropriately misspelled name, "Wealthy Godrich," linking it to Illinois.

Flexible cloth 18mo (6 x 3.75 inches). 26 pages with alphabetical thumb index; hand-paginated: 6, (1), 34, (1); then the book is flipped and used from the reverse. About Good with heavy discoloration to cloth, intermittent soil and tidemarks inside—a little grubby, evidence of its use over a prolonged period of time, marked by pencils in various stages of blunting.
