New York: Potter, Ainsworth & Co., 1870.

Wraps, 7 x 8.5 inches, 24 pages. VG+ to Near Fine with mild discoloration. 1870 copyright, slightly later printing with Potter replacing Woolworth in the imprint. Attributed on the cover to G. H. Shattuck and A. S. Manson. Signed and dated by student Lizzie Herr, Sept. 28, 1876. Fewer than half of the pages have been completed (3-8 and 12 in their entirety, plus parts of 9, 11 & 13), making this a good reference for the copybook's original structure of weighted and colored lines and unobstructed headers with pleasingly designed instructions and sample specimens.
