Homes of the World's Babies in Silhouette

Chicago: A. Flanagan, 1910.

Cloth backed pictorial boards. Oblong quarto, 60pp. Gift inscription to ffep, light fingersoil, moderate rubbing to boards and bumping at the bottom edge, Very Good. Faint pencil to one of the plates.

An uncommon paper-cutting book featuring versions of domestic life from around the world, illustrated in bold black & white. Includes the "long ago home," referring to traditional American chairs and hutches, presented alongside igloos and Scandinavian hut. Incidentally, an interesting study of vernacular architecture and design.
