[student work, original art]
3 bouquets of paper-cut flowers by Dorothy Hess, 1933
Three great paper flower bouquets by fourteen-year-old Pennsylvania student, Dorothy Hess, during the 1932-1933 school year. The tallest (poinsettia?) reaches 18 inches at full height, the bottom of the vase and side of one of the flowers was previously folded, but they present wonderfully, managing to be flat and sculptural at the same time. They come with some of the original stencils and some extra paper, too, if you'd like to add to the fun.
