Tell me.... A merry game of questions with 1000 answers

Players draw one card at a time and read what it says. Players are asked to give a word that matches the parameters set out on the game cards (examples: a country, a word ending in "ment," something that frightens you, a music group starting with __ ). A spinner is used to determine the first letter of the word the player must name. The first player to reach whatever amount of correct answers has been agreed upon, is declared winner.

This game had several iterations in different languages, this is the English edition from 1955 with a very period aesthetic--bright green and yellow metal spanner, neat attire on the kids. Approx. 60 printed cards with prompts to be answered by words using the first letter revealed by the spanner--a nice mix of direct naming ("A River" "An Article in Daily Use"), wordplay ("A word reading the same forwards or backwards" "A word ending in 'ling'") and personal questions ("What would you like to become?" "What makes one happy?"). Instructions under the box with a few ways to play. Gentle toning and wear commensurate with age, but really a quite nice example with coloring still bold and clean. The found poetry enthusiast rejoices.
