Softcover 4to, [42]p. No date, ca. late 1930s. The first published catalog volume of Gowland’s glamour shots, before the inclusion of nudes. Brief essay on “Posing and Composition,” else entirely composed of Gowland’s playful photographs, offered at $5 a pop. Overall Very Good with soil and wear to wraps, including rusting staples and abrasion to the rear wrap. Contents nevertheless clean and bright. A great collection of images from the early end of the legendary pinup photographer’s career as master and guru of the glamour shot. Classic cheesecake!
