Industrial and Applied Art Books, No. 3

New York: Mentzer, Bush & Co., 1926.

Oblong softcover 4to, 7.75 x 10.5 inches, 47pp. Designed as a workbook of drawing and crafts activities, most designed to be cut out of the binding once completed. One of the activities has, indeed, been cut out; the others are largely completed but still intact. Overall Fair condition with light general wear and two closed tears, 1.5-2.5 inches, affecting the bottom edge of last 3 pages (no loss). Includes coloring, lettering, bookbinding, paper cutting, and more. Fun fact: Walter Scott Perry was involved in a group of progressive art educators called "the syndicate" who pushed for change in Massachusetts art education in the 1890s.
