Collector Specials
One barrier to entering the wonderful world of collecting is the difficulty of discovering interesting material at modest prices if you don’t have access to a local bookshop. The printed books in this section aren’t generally rare, just neat things found at bookstores on recent trips and purchased despite not being viable for resale from a business perspective—more of a PSA and a virtual “Hey, check this out!” You can also find lots of material under $50 over in the small joys section.
There is also a selection of manuscript and one-of-a-kind material earmarked for smaller budgets. It's not a flawless scheme, but hopefully it will encourage and create an opportunity for some of the folks excited about notebooks and textile swatches and paper wonders (especially those newly introduced) to be able to engage as collectors.
