Little Pet's ABC Panorama

Lovely mechanical ABC with 26 color lithograph vignettes notably using proper names instead of objects for each letter. Attributed in OCLC to William Momberger, 1870, with 1 copy located at the Library of Congress. 7 x 7 x 1.5 inches, plus two protruding wood knobs for operating the scroll. In this panorama, each letter is assigned to a child's name, with a color vignette accompanying each line. Mechanics in excellent working order with moderate rubbing around the edges, old clear tape reinforcements at the bottom and visible glue repairs at the upper left and bottom right corners of the window opening, about Very Good condition overall. Scroll has a couple of stitches of tape at the very top of the roll, but runs smoothly and is without any major damage from A through Z.
