Cinderella

Quarto; 10 unnumbered color lithograph pages with crepe paper honeycomb pop-outs. No date (AAS suggests 1880). Fair to Good with splitting along he spine and chips at the head and bottom corner; moderate overall soil and wear. Only one honeycomb feature is errantly creased, others in excellent condition. All contents pictured.

Wilmsen's "Triumph Edition" encompassed three titles: Cinderella, Hansel and Grethel, and Little Red Riding Hood. He had begun in the tinsel business and had a lucrative trade in Christmas decorations. These spirited books were printed in Germany, reflecting the more robust supply of lithographers and assemblers able to execute the skilled work.
