Single broadsheet folded to 8 nesting panels, printed on both sides with specimen illustrations of patterns on offer and short promotional copy. Advertised in ladies' magazines as a source of pleasure and profit, the "Superior" way promised to be fast enough to make a "genuine Colonial Hooked Rug...in eight hours or less." They sold "An old art newly developed" sold pre-printed burlap bases, tools and equipment for executing the designs at home.
