F. W. Woolworth Co. department store interior, ca. 1910
5 x 7 photograph mounted on 7 x 9 board. Heavily chipped around the edges with some loss at corners, pinhole at top center. Photograph slightly faded and with mild surface soil and wear, but no major blemishes. Hanging signs for the candy and jewelry departments, toward the classic "Nothing in this store over 10¢" Woolworth sign. Five women and a man stand in the middle ground, two other figures lurking farther back. No date or location, but a visible display for Hump Hair Pins dates it post-1903, and Woolworth stores merged in 1912 to be "F. W. Woolworth Company," though some stores already had that name. Presumed to be a Pittsburgh or Western PA location.
