The Mother's Primer

Printed wraps, 12mo, (24) pages. No date; the Davis, Porter & Co. imprint dates it to 1864-1866, when Coates was added. Horizontal crease at the center of the volume, otherwise Very Good with gentle toning and edgewear including short closed tears. Great pictorial alphabets on the first 6 pages--and a vignette on the last page of a poor old man trying to sell books. OCLC shows 5 copies with the later imprint "Davis, Porter & Coates," immediate successor to Davis, Porter & Co., per the AAS trade directory.
