Small collection of mounted sewing skill samples

Red oblong booklet, 10 x 13 inches. French student work, ca. 1940s. A handmade booklet with 8 leaves intended for mounting student sewing work to be graded. This has 8 individual examples mounted on three of the pages, including functional buttonholes. The monogram sample is water stained, the examples otherwise have minor age discoloration--and their original grades written in red oil crayon. With plenty of unused pages, this could be an interesting base for a book arts project or kept as is. The samples could also be transferred for individual display.
