Includes publisher's note on the importance of campaign canvassing books to meaningfully inform voters not only about the candidates, but the electoral process and civic knowledge many would not have had any schooling in. There are historical facts about presidents and other elected representatives, statistics about national debt, qualifications for voter (including reference to women's right to vote on particular issues in certain states), the text of the Constitution, and even a diagram of the Republican Convention and explanation of the electoral process.
