Alphabet and Funny Pictures (Cinderella Series)

An early McLoughlin Bros. ABC attributed to Vincent Dill, ca. 1863-1869. Tinted abrasion to cover almost (but not quite) clear of the Dunce boy, else Good with fingersoil, old stitching along the bottom two inches of the spine. Inscribed "Herbert Strobeck's Book." With some uncommon ABC characters, including "Q was a Quack with a wonderful Pill... Z was a Zaney, A poor harmless fool." The robber illustration is a favorite.
