Hand-sewn disbound pamphlet decrying the ills and evils of alcohol, 6.75 x 4.25 inches, 28pp. A Very Good copy with mild age toning/discoloration, primarily along spine, but sturdy and able to be handled/read without falling apart. With evocative woodcut title and woodcut vignette on page 18. A mix of cautionary anecdotes and medical advice, not always employing the soundest logic (the author refutes that drinking warms the body insides by recounting a ship of doomed sailors who had to swim to shore in winter, and froze to death despite having partaken in drink).
