A truly stunning botany notebook compiled by Josephine Coraher in Michigan, 1922.

Loose leaf notebook, 10 x 8 inches. Hardcover with post and cord binding. 26 album pages of drawings and notes, including 18 pages with various herbarium specimens, some interspersed with the drawings. 10 page "explanation of plant analysis" notes on loose leaf paper at rear. Student botany notebook by Josephine Coraher, in Very Good condition with soil and wear to boards, light dampstaining to the bottom edge of the looseleaf; album pages have some offsetting from the specimens but are otherwise clean. The first section is dedicated to "The Life History of Bean Seedling," followed with additional drawings and studies of apples, onions, cornflowers, etc.
