Photograph measures approximately 7 x 5 inches mounted on 9 x 7 card. Very Good+ with minimal surface wear, embossed card has wear and chipping to the rightside corners and white spot in the right margin. Stamp on verso of John D. Megown, a photographer active around Youngstown, Ohio in the early 20th century. His archive is held at the Mahoning Valley Historical Society: "Megown photographed a wide variety of subjects, both commercial and scenic. His work is a fascinating record of the social and economic setting during a period of significant growth in the history of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley." He was known to photograph domestic scenes as well as social and political events.
