Laurel Economy Method of Writing, Revised Edition Books 2, 3, 4
Numbers 2, 3, and 4 in original envelopes and with original blank loose leaf in the pocket of Book 2. Square octavo sleeve with 52 narrow slips printed on both sides and attached with thread at both ends, approx. 8.75 x 8.5 inches. Near Fine.
The Laurel Economy Method of Writing was a tablet style variation that married the copybook and writing slate. Exercises are printed on narrow slips suspended from the board. The writer could slide their notepaper underneath, allowing the student to practice every line in the same close proximity to the printed slip.
