In Very Good condition: Reinforced with two small staples tucked close enough to the spine that none of the contents visibility is affected. Some soil and discoloration, mostly to the outer wraps, but still clean and fairly evenly toned throughout. Told from the perspective of Joe’s ‘ole lady, an ailing Joe (self described as “ain’t [having] long on this world”) is deluded into thinking he’s a paragon of health and returns home for a superhuman romp which leaves him incapacitated and reliant on welfare for 2 years after.
