Photograph measures 5.5 x 4 inches, mounted to gilt embossed card, 8 x 6 inches, ca. 1880-1890s. Embossed studio mark of Davis Mahan, a photographer working in Pittsburgh from the late 1860s until his death in 1905. Surface scratching to the print; card is well worn with pinholes at the bottom and top, where there is a small loss.
